Hello!

Heart/Hearth: Fall -Winter Retreat is visioned and brought forth from the heart of Gwendolyn Ren, as a container of connection and care. A threshold keeper, Gwen is interested in the spaces in between, offering practices that bridge duality: movement and stillness, sound and silence, heartbreak and hope.

For this gathering she is joined by collaborators and friends: Tecca Thompson, Molly Andrews-Hinders, and Libby Smith.

As facilitators we are committed to reducing harm and staying present for repair in the spaces we inhabit through ongoing learning and the integration of practices that acknowledge and affirm all different types of bodies, races, needs, and lived experiences.

Gwendolyn

Gwendolyn (she/they) has spent a lifetime in heartfelt preparation for this work and since 2006 has been professionally designing, planning and executing complex events around the country. Logistically and creatively, this experience now supports her heart’s mission: to offer intentional containers and practices fertile for both personal growth and community based healing.

Braiding meditation and movement, deep rest and deep listening, contemplation and playful curiosity, she leads from her full humanhood designing spaces that dance between reverence and irreverence. Facilitating retreat since 2018 she brings experience, skill, and intuition to inspire emergent gatherings.
