Listen: an almost silent retreat, June 2020
Listening takes on a new meaning now. Or at least another one. We quiet in order to be receptive, not silenced. We use this time to process and to prepare. To feel deeply into our tender hearts and our weariness, into our great strength, and our privileges. We quiet in order to make sense of the rumblings inside of us, the cracking open around us, to know the power of our voices. The gift it is, to have a voice. To heed the calls to use it.
We gather in reverence, in humbleness, to lean into an experience greater than our separateness.
with love,
Gwendolyn
